Anthony M. Rader
Director of Sales and Marketing
Tony Rader has more than 30 years of experience in general contracting. Rader has been promoted recently to Director of Sales and Marketing from Director of Commercial Operations at AUI Contractors based in Fort Worth, Texas. In his new role, Rader oversees all marketing and sales activity, including developing marketing plans and building a sales team.
Previously, Rader managed all of the company's commercial projects, ensuring their successful completion. His experience includes 20 years with pre-engineered metal buildings, 10 years of pre-cast construction and the development of a concrete estimating program for general construction.
Rader, who believes in establishing long-term relationships with his clients, has overseen all of AUI’s projects for Werner Enterprises. Werner Enterprises is among the five largest truckload carriers in the United States. Since 2001, AUI has built several trucking facilities for Werner Enterprises across the United States, resulting in approximately $10 million in project revenue for the company.
From 1997 to 2000, Rader worked as an Estimator for AUI's building, Park and Specialty projects. In 1998 alone, he was the Project Manager for five projects including the Blockbuster Video Shell Building in Colleyville, Lake Arlington boat ramp project for the City of Fort Worth, Pantego Town Park trail and bridge, Kiker Park in Watauga and the Keller multi-use arena in Keller.
Prior to AUI, Rader worked at DPS Consulting, a management security firm that designed and installed computer rooms across the United States, on the design and construction of several $1.29 Cleaners in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex from 1995 to 1997. From 1989 to 1997, Rader was Co-Owner and Vice President of W.F. Carter Constructors, Inc. From 1985 to 1989, he owned and operated Aaron Construction, an excavation firm. From 1981 to 1985, Rader served as Vice President and Owner of Foundation Tendons, a design/build firm specializing in tennis court construction. He began his career as a Project Manager for DPS Consulting. Rader is an active board member of Associated Builders & Contractors and is currently a member of its governmental affairs committee.
