Mario Carbone
Director of Construction Services

Mario Carbone has more than 15 years of experience in both the general and specialty contracting industries. He oversees all strategic planning and operations for AUI Contractors. In addition, Carbone spearheads the Achieving Company Excellence (ACE) group, with Charles Plumhoff, AUI’s Director of Finance. The ACE committee focuses on developing, implementing, and improving overall company systems and processes, in order to prepare AUI for the next level of growth.

Carbone started with AUI in December 2006 as Director of Construction Services. He works closely with AUI’s Board of Directors to develop initiatives to help AUI achieve a more efficient operational level. Additionally, he works to develop and promote a culture of uncompromised values and quality that strives to exceed the client’s expectations.

Prior to joining AUI, Carbone was a Vice President at Natgun Corporation in Wakefield, MA. In his VP role, he oversaw operations in the Estimating Department, planned and executed company policy and direction, and collaborated in the development of annual sales forecasts and territory goals. From 1992-1997, he occupied several job posts of growing responsibility at Turner Construction Company in Boston.

Born in Lima, Peru, Carbone earned a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering in 1992 from Union College in Schenectady, NY. He is a member of the Southlake Executive Forum in Southlake, Texas.
